This policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and the choices you have — both for this website (iampavel.com) and for software projects published by Pavel Glukhikh, including the Infinity Edge browser extension. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

The single most important commitment, stated up front: personal data is never sold to anyone, ever. There is no data-brokering, no sale of contact lists, and no sharing of personal information for advertising.

Part 1 — This website (iampavel.com)

What is collected

iampavel.com is a static publication. Browsing it does not require an account and sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Specifically:

• Contact form. When you submit the contact form, the name, email address, subject, and message you enter are transmitted to a private mailbox so your message can be answered. That is the form's only purpose. This information is used to respond to you and is not added to any marketing list, profile, or third-party service.
• Server and security logs. Like any website, requests are handled by a hosting provider (Cloudflare) that processes standard technical data — such as IP address, user agent, and request metadata — to deliver pages, defend against abuse, and keep the site available. This data is operational, not commercial.
• On-site search. The search feature runs entirely in your browser. What you type into search is never sent to a server.

The site uses no third-party analytics, no advertising networks, and no social tracking pixels. It ships effectively no client-side JavaScript beyond the in-browser search and the contact-form submission handler.

How it is used

Information submitted through the contact form is used solely to read and respond to your message and to keep a record of the correspondence. Server logs are used to operate and secure the site. Nothing collected through this website is sold, rented, or shared for advertising.

Retention and your choices

Contact messages are retained for as long as needed to handle the correspondence and any follow-up, then may be deleted. You may request that your message and details be deleted, or ask what has been retained, by getting in touch through the contact page. Because the site sets no tracking cookies, there is nothing to opt out of at the browser level.

Part 2 — Software projects by Pavel Glukhikh

This section applies to applications, browser extensions, and other software published by Pavel Glukhikh. The same core commitment holds across every project: your data is never sold to anyone. Where a project handles data, it does so only to provide the feature you installed it for — never to build a profile of you for resale.

Infinity Edge (Chrome extension)

Infinity Edge is a frameless browsing extension for Google Chrome that changes how the browser window and its chrome are presented. It is a user-interface tool that runs locally within your browser.

• No sale of data. Infinity Edge does not sell, rent, or trade any user data with anyone, under any circumstances.
• Local operation. The extension operates within your browser to provide its frameless interface. Any browser permissions it requests are used exclusively to deliver that functionality — not to track your browsing, harvest history, or build an advertising profile.
• No advertising or third-party trackers. The extension does not include advertising SDKs or third-party analytics that identify you personally.
• Any preferences stay with you. Settings you choose for the extension are kept to make the extension work the way you set it, and are not used for any commercial purpose.

If a future version of Infinity Edge introduces a feature that changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated before that feature ships, and the change will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.

Service providers

A small number of infrastructure providers process data on the owner's behalf strictly to operate these services — for example, the hosting and content-delivery provider that serves this website, and the mail server that delivers contact-form messages. These providers act as processors under their own terms; they are not permitted to use your information for their own advertising, and no data is sold to them or by them on the owner's behalf.

What is never done
